Our recycled plastic bottle fabric has some great features that we have yet to publicize on our webstore. Oops. We've been very busy with our retail store on Queen St. so we've forgotten to put these details on our products featured on this online store. Soon enough. For now anything you may see on the site made from recycled plastic bottles is also water repellent, with a rating of 90. Water Proof DWR has a rating of 100. We do not use teflon in our DWR treatment because it is carcinogenic and causes cancer where it accumulates. Don't panic there is no evidence that wearing it causes cancer. (but being near where they make it does.) Contact us if you want the EPA's study.  Most other water proof garments use teflon; you might want to ask.
Our fabric is also meant to breathe and stretch so that you can move without restriction and be comfortable at the same time because sweating inside your waterproof garment isn't comfortable.  Otherwise, the fabric has a unique inner weave that feels like it's massaging your skin.(this is only a personal opinion and not everyone feels this way.) I hope this information helps and as always if you buy anything from our store and don't love it please tell us and return it. We want you to love your Modrobes garment.
